Learn
Sometimes the thing getting in the way isn’t the assignment itself — it’s a skill that needs another look. The Study Coach gives learners a place to work on Math, Reading, Grammar and Notes step by step, with Eddie there when another explanation helps. Then they can take what they’ve learned back into real work.

A learner might need to revisit fractions, work on finding the main idea in a text, make sense of a grammar pattern, or learn a better way to take notes. Learn gives them somewhere to focus on that one piece without turning it into a judgment about everything else they can do.
Math Learn breaks concepts into clear steps, examples and visuals, with room to try and ask questions along the way. If something still doesn’t make sense, Eddie can explain the part the learner is actually looking at. And when they’re ready, they can carry that understanding straight back into Math Work.

Reading Learn works on the skills that help meaning come together — from foundational reading through main ideas, relationships, evidence and comprehension. A learner can strengthen the particular skill they need without being treated as younger or less capable because of it. Reading skill is not age.
Grammar becomes much more useful when a learner can see why a sentence works the way it does. Grammar Learn helps learners notice patterns in sentences, punctuation and usage so they can make clearer choices in their own writing. Eddie can stay beside the lesson when another example or explanation would help.

Taking notes is a skill in its own right. Notes Learn helps learners decide what matters, separate main ideas from details, put information into useful structures, and create notes they can actually return to later. Those skills matter in school, post-secondary learning, work and lifelong learning — anywhere someone needs to make sense of information rather than simply copy it down.
Learning becomes useful when it travels. A learner might discover in Math Work that slope still feels shaky, spend time with that idea in Math Learn, and then return to the graph. Or they might practise identifying main ideas in Notes Learn and use that skill later while researching their own project. Learn gives the skill somewhere to grow; the workspace gives it somewhere to be used.

Strengthen the concept when the work has shown where it is missing.

Bring that understanding back to the graph and the problem that still belongs to the learner.

Practise noticing what matters in a lesson, so the method is ready when the material is their own.

Use the same skill with notes, sources and research that the learner is actually responsible for.
Sometimes a learner only needs one part explained differently. Eddie can work from the lesson they are already on, answer the question that is actually getting in the way, or help them talk through what still feels confusing. The learner stays involved in making sense of the idea rather than being handed something to copy.

People are uneven learners — all of us are. Someone can be very capable in one area and need to rebuild something foundational in another. The Study Coach is designed to help a learner begin where the particular skill needs attention without turning that starting point into a statement about what they are capable of overall.
Not knowing is not a failure of learning. It is where learning begins. There should be no shame in asking what something means, needing another explanation, returning to something learned years ago, or realising there is a gap that needs attention. Learn is there for exactly those moments.
French Language Practice is for Core French and French Immersion students. They can work with the vocabulary they are learning, listen, speak, and bring a worksheet to Eddie. It is included with The Study Coach membership.
Build skills in Math, Reading, Grammar and Notes, then bring those skills back into the work that matters.
